Using your Spanish in the navigation of daily life is the gateway to fluency.  Family life provides the all important development of your ear to the sounds of Spanish, in a context you understand, linking intellectual knowledge with experiential, tonal knowledge.
Your Bolivian family will also teach you local social skills and invite you into their activities and discussions.  You will receive a concrete grasp of family life and culture.  As your language skills expand, you can explore political and social topics with your new friends. Accommodations include your own room and three meals a day. Additionally, a homestay is cheaper than a hotel and an important source of income to participating families.
